hmm...think its quite a weird timing to start this post... well since i could not sleep and cant concentrate on studying.... i shall write a post.
Went canteen 5 in ntu for dinneer yesterday(thursday).Since it is newly open, so decided to give it a try. Ordered food from a zi char stall which also sell western cruisine and share with my friends - daji, jiehe, sihan. Sicong act sick cannot share with us haha. Anyway we ordered one "sambal" stingray, i got reason for putting the "". The picture on the signboard showed the normal way of how stingray is served- on banana leaf n bbq-ed. What we got is stingray on a hotplate with chicken chop sauce? Maybe the uncle forgot to tell us he ran out of sambal sauce and decided to impromptu and use chicken chop sauce? Anoter dish is sambal kang kong, maybe the uncle used up all the sambal left for our kang kong.
We also orderd hot plate beancurd, normally this dish would not go very wrong ba. Usually the plate is filled with egg den the rest of the ingredients like beancurd is on top. Somehow, think the egg see us den very shy, shrink to size like "er bao dan". The last dish is thai style chicken, well its not too bad... taste normal. hehe
Sorrie didnt take any pictures, but well this is where our brain works wonder. Use ur imagination and think ba hehe.
